This event is a K9 Trials/Competition specifically open to Private Security, Casino, Resort, & Pest Control K9 Teams.

LE K9 Handlers are welcome at ALL Training Courses

Multiple K9 Teams from the same employer can compete both individually and as a team with their co-workers. Team & individual awards will be provided in Explosives, Firearms, Bed Bug Detection, & Handler Protection categories.

LODGING

EXPLOSIVES DETECTION COMPETITION for SECURITY K9:
Outdoor area containing various items which may include vehicles, storage containers, pallets, buried hides etc.
Timed event
Possible odors of: Black Powder, Smokeless Powder, PETN, TNT, Dynamite, RDX, and/or Ammonium Nitrate
Possible visual training aids (ie bombs) w/o odor for K9 Handlers to locate

FIREARMS DETECTION COMPETITION for SECURITY K9:
Indoor area containing furnished rooms
Timed event
Possible odors of: clean and/or dirty handguns,
shotguns, & rifles

BED BUG DETECTION COMPETITION for RESORT & PEST CONTROL:
Indoor area containing furnished rooms
Timed event
Possible odors of live and/or dead bed bugs
Handlers may request ONLY live or
ONLY dead bed bugs if dog is trained in only one

PATROL COMPETITION:
Frontal bite (Handler choice of sleeve or suit
20 yard send w/call off to Handler w/2nd Decoy
Defended apprehension w/casino items
