Casino & Private Security Explosives Detection K9 Handler School - Pinnacle Protection Group Hybrid (Online & In-Person) Bomb Detection Only

Tired of sending bomb detection handlers to generic, diploma mill K9 schools taught by instructors with no real-world explosives detection experience? Tired of being an after thought to narcotics and patrol centered ‘Police’ K9 Handler Schools?

Pinnacle Protection Group, in partnership with the International Casino & Resort Working Dog Association (ICRWDA), offers a K9 Handler School built specifically for casinos and private security teams protecting resorts, arenas, stadiums, theaters, and convention spaces. Training is delivered using ICRWDA industry best-practice curriculum and focuses exclusively on explosives detection operations in high-occupancy environments.

The course is led by Ryan Millbern, President of ICRWDA and Director of K9 Operations for Pinnacle Protection Group. Ryan has led K9 programs for more than 30 casinos, including the most awarded casino K9 program in the industry, and has directed explosives detection operations for high-threat special events and leading private-sector venues. He has trained and certified hundreds of casino, private security, law enforcement, and military K9 teams across Asia, Oceania, and the United States. His instruction is grounded in real-world experience at leading private-sector venues and as an OCONUS U.S. State Department PMC P/EDD handler and trainer in the Middle East.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an ICRWDA and PPG Certificate of Completion for 120 hours of K9 Handler Instruction and have the opportunity to certify to nationally recognized explosives detection standards. Limited K9 Team and student audit spots are available. Trained explosives detection K9s may be made available for students who do not yet have a dog. Discounted housing is also available.
